Well it's now been exactly two months since I started programming Bram according to the comments in my code. (No, I didn't plan for that, it's a coincidence.) But believe me, it's been much longer since I started designing the program itself. I probably spent at least a month and a half figuring out how I wanted Bram to work before even starting to code. But finally, after two months of hard work, without further ado, I present Bram, the Batch Renamer and Mover!
First and foremost, a HUGE thanks goes out to Jim Parsells, who has been extremely invaluable in the creation of Bram! He's the one who made the treeview component you see in Bram, which also provides it's filesystem monitoring ability as well. You can read about that in more detail on the Special Thanks page.
Now obviously since this is a new release, it'd be quite ludicrous for me to go into detail about every feature of Bram in this blog post. (It's be too long since I have the tendency to ramble on about extra things.) So instead, I think you'd be better off going to the Bram program page and reading through it yourself.
I suppose I can provide a link to the Bram changelog, although all it says right now is "Initial Release", so I wouldn't bother.
Have fun with Bram! If you find any bugs or have any suggestions, don't forget to submit them using the contact form!
(For those of you who run software mirror sites that read this blog, note that the PAD file for Bram is at the bottom of the Bram page as per usual. If you have a chance to grab it before 4 pm tomorrow shoot me an email so I don't resubmit it when I distribute Bram to the various mirror sites. It know it's one extra thing to do but it'd help me a ton!)
